Two ways to compute the eigen-news

v0 takes the SVD of the centred TF-IDF term matrix (axes are word lists by construction). v1 takes the eigenvectors of the covariance of sentence embeddings and names them through the same vocabulary. Both are varimax-rotated into named axes. Stories, sections and z-scores below are computed identically for both.

Section purity: share of stories carrying a human-assigned Wikipedia Current Events section whose dominant axis's majority section is their own. Labels are never used to fit either basis.

Axes paired by correlation of story coordinates (Kuhn–Munkres on |corr|). A negative correlation means the axes point opposite ways.
